Overview

The availability of mechanised tunnelling systems is strongly dependent on the design and performance of the support and maintenance processes. In transfer project T3, the simulation concepts and analysis methods from sub-project C3 of SFB 837 for the construction analysis and control of tunnelling processes are being further developed for application in practice. Thanks to the cooperation with Herrenknecht AG, market leader for tunnelling machines, practical data and experience can be used for the further development of sub-project C3.
