Simulation-and-monitoring-based real-time steering in mechanized tunneling
Overview
The transfer project focuses on the prototype testing and further development of subproject C1 of the SFB 837, which has developed simulation models to support the steering process of the Tunnel Boring Machine in mechanized tunneling. The project is aiming at applying and testing the findings of basic research under real practical conditions together with the industry partner Maidl Tunnel Consultant (MTC) by using two tunnel projects as application examples.
